“Your environment is the most important contributor to improving your design skills. Being around others, seeing their reactions, and hearing their thinking will bring you to the next level as a designer.”
- Jared Spool, Founder, User Interface Engineering
“I've come to the opinion that the development of design is now a major discipline shortage and supporting an effort to grow this skill amongst designers is a major thing we can do to help the industry.”
- Yishan Wong, Former Director of Engineering, Facebook
“Design is such a critical factor in the success of a new startup. I hope that bringing together the brightest design minds to share ideas will create transformative value.”
- Tristan Harris, CEO, Apture

- Justin Caldbeck, VC, Bain Capital Ventures
“Receiving constructive feedback has been critical for me as a designer in all stages of my development.”
- Maureen Hanratty, Interaction Designer, Yahoo
